1.    Take time to slow down…

In this world of internet and social media everything is fast moving. Be it changing DP on WhatsApp or sending an email, everything is done with in minutes as nobody has time to stop and are rushing in this unstopping cycle. Taking time to sit back and digitally detoxing yourself will not only help you to reduce stress and anxiety but also relax and calm your mood down.

Taking time off all the work will help you process thing a lot easier and will give you time to think on things that you neglect or didn’t have time to complete. Quarantine is a best time to spend time with your family and to rekindle your relationships, also take personal care be it hygiene or health.

2.    Read books!!

There is not better way to calm yourself then reading a book. It not only relaxes your mind but also keeps you in the loop of the on-going world. Exercise or any sort of physical activity is always proven to be beneficial for health. Due to pandemic most of the people are staying home, thus there is not a lot to do, we are very restricted in our body movements, it is even more important for people of all ages and abilities to be as active as possible. Daily exercise can be considered helpful as it will keep you fit and work for a better immune system to fight any kind of sickness and relax your body and reduce stress.

Any sort of yoga can also be propitious as it can reduce fatigue and sleeplessness. You can engage in physical activity by exercising with family, friends by using online fitness resources or taking a virtual class. A healthy body is a best way of immunity as well as mood booster.

4.    Hobbies

Hobbies are essential to having a well-rounded life. Saving some time for yourself to enjoy a hobby can provide the physical, mental, emotional, and creative benefits that make life more meaningful. Hobbies and activities that get you out and about can make you feel happier and more relaxed. It also proven to reduce stress, anxiety and depression.
